Hey everyone, sorry to bombard you, but my latest essay that I wrote for The Symbolic World is now up on the site!
It was a fun experience and I really enjoyed writing on the subject of Green Men in the Church. It was also challenging. Cormac Jones, the Chief Editor at The Symbolic World is the real deal and a gifted writer himself. I’m very thankful for him pushing me while writing this essay.

Very interesting. Myths are quite fascinating and well worth our study. I think you have done a service by connecting the myth to a scriptural base. It a time of limited literacy, these stories, like the zodiac, were used as memory aides for important truths.
By a bit of subtraction, we find that Adam died when Enoch (who walked with God) was 308, out of his total of 365 years. (Noah himself, of the antediluvian patriarchs, was the only one whom we know *didn't* meet Adam.) Might Enoch be more plausible in the role of Seth here?
